Multiple google calendars with iPhone

After some trouble syncing my calendars and finally discovering the easy solution, I’d like to share this with anyone interested.

The trouble was syncing more than 5 calendars, not having to do complicated setup gymnastics for all of them.

This solution syncs all or some of your google calendars, certainly no problem with more than 5 (as I had using… was it Microsoft Exhange or Google Sync?) This affects your calendar syncing only. And of course it’s fully two-way editable.

1. Organize your Google calendars.
2. Go to https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect.
Sign in, if you’re not already signed in.
3. Select all the google calendars you want to sync to your iPhone, and don’t forget to save.

Now, on the iPhone:
4. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
5. Under Accounts tap “Add account”, then “Other”
6. Under Calendars tap “Add CalDAC Account”
7. Enter your google account information:
- Server: www.google.com
- Username: [your google username]
- Password: [your google password]
- Description: [f.ex Google]
8. Tap “Next”, then “Save”

Voila!

If you have synced all your goolge stuff from before, just delete the old calendar (and calendar only, so you keep eventual contact and e-mail settings) synchronization on your iPhone.

Statoils husflid

Ja, det er vel ikke så nytt: Statoil bytter igjen navn tilbake til Statoil, men istedenfor den utmerkede dråpen, har Statoil begynt med husflid og tatt Norges Husflidslags logo. Den er jo fin den, selvfølgelig, kanskje ikke til et oljeselskap riktignok, men det er nå åkke som ufint å ape så åpenbart etter andre.

Ny Statoil-logo, rett nok bare på morselskapet og ikke på bensinstasjonene:

Beinhard musikk, ribbet. Rykende fersk, ferdig idag, kom på premiere lørdag 14. november på Ridehuset, Akershus festning i Oslo!
Musikk nesten rensket for musikk, dette blir stas. Det er så mye søtladen musikk i verden, ikke for det, det er fint det, men dette er et kondensat, sylskarpt, et nullpunkt. quo er selvfølgelig latin: hvor? hvortil? hvorhen? hvor langt? i hvilken utsrekning? osv.

Changed time for audience to show up:

Saturday 12. Sep 18.30 (pm) at Skar, Maridalen.
Concert of course still Sun 13. Sep at 06.30 (am).
Use local bus 51 arriving Skar at 18.17, bike, drive to Skar P or check the Ultima bus.

Welcome to early Sunday morning concert around small forest lake!
A rare, site specific concert, with custom music, of course.
You basically have three choices:

1. Arrive Saturday night and sleep in tents. If you want, meet at Skar at 18.30 (new time) or walk yourself later.
2. Attend Saturday night entertainment in Oslo, keep it going and enter the special early morning Ultima-Oslo-Fagervann-bus leaving central Oslo at 04.30.
3. Get out of bed quite early, drive/bike to Maridalen and join us.

When: Sunday 13. Sep 2009 at 06:30 (am) – about the work here.

Nattemperaturen ser ut til å være normalt 3-7 grader, så ta med varmt tøy, lue, og glem ikke gode ullsokker.
Det er noen bløte partier på stiene. Derfor kan gummistøvler være en god idé. Ellers anbefales vanntette turstøvler.
Hvis du planlegger å gå opp på morgenkvisten: husk at det er mørkt. Ta med lykt. Glem ikke varm drikke og mat.

Welcome to new site structure!
It’ll be updated regularly. In the calendar to the right you may click “view all dates” and check some concerts and stuff I happen to recommend.
In “works” you find music with full length videos and sound.
And in “sandbox” you’ll find infrastructure stuff and maybe some project sketches.

Den har fått ny drakt og vil jevnlig bli oppdatert.
I kalenderen på høyre side kan du klikke “view all dates” for full oversikt over diverse konserter og tilstelninger jeg kommer over og evt. anbefaler.
Under “works” ligger musikk, med lyd og videoer – innspillinger og opptak i sin helhet.
